Overview

Sirai House is found in the Laikipia region of Kenya, on the Borana Conservancy at the foot of Mount Kenya. Situated high on a remote ridge at the edge of the indigenous cedar and wild olive forest, it offers stunning views in every direction.

Built by local craftsmen with local materials it has a true sense of place, yet its eyecatching style reflects a love of archictecture, design and art.

Though secluded, it offers every comfort. In short, it is a contemporary East African Home.

There are six guest suites, all of which are spread across the property in separate cottages with plenty of space between them ensuring privacy and seclusion.

Each of the guest suites has been individually styled so every guest will find something to suit them.

Kitchen

Everything our kitchen team do is focussed around you: serving the food you want, when and where you want it. We can also fly in top flight chefs to meet your tastes and, of course, can cater for any dietary requirement.

Gym

Just by the pool house, the gym is equipped with everything you need to keep in shape: two running machines, a rowing machine, cross-trainer, exercise bike, dumbells, mats and weight bench. Please start your exercise gently, remember exercise is a lot harder work at 7,000 feet! We also have a stunning clay tennis court.

Cinema

The cinema has nine (double) love seats to snuggle up in and watch anything from our collection of 500 films while eating freshy made popcorn served in signature Sirai House boxes. Sports junkies will be able to get their fix of premiership football, rugby, cricket and most other sports too.

Pool Dining

The dining area by the pool seats 20 and, with its own kitchen, is perfect for long lazy lunches.

Pool Bar

You won't have to go far to find a drink. It is also a good perch for watching ping pong on our granite table.
