Overview

Masai Mara is probably the most famous large park reserve in the world.  The park is more famous for the annual migration that takes centre stage in the middle of the year.  Another great attraction of Masai Mara is the pride of lions that are found here, as well as the other members of the big 5.

Masai Mara wildlife include antelopes, leopards, foxes, zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, & Coke's hartebeest. Large herds of zebra are found through the reserve.    When you move further along the plains you will be able to see the impressive Masai Giraffe and also the common giraffe.

The Masai Mara also has over 450 species of birdlife that include the African pygmy-falcon, marabou stork & secretary bird.
