Mt. Kilimanjaro Routes we don’t recommend
Mt. Kilimanjaro Marangu route:
Marangu route is one of the less expensive because the availability of huts on the route, but we don’t recommend it because it is a very crowded route. Clients from different companies are mixed within the huts which are not kept well clean. The last two days of the ascension is very steep which doesn’t allow for good acclimatization and not a great success rate.
Mt. Kilimanjaro Rongai 6 days:
The Rongai route ascends Kilimanjaro from the north‐eastern side of the mountain, along the border between Tanzania and Kenya. This route retains a sense of unspoilt wilderness and offers a different perspective on Kilimanjaro by approaching it from the north. Rongai route is remote and is a bearer option if you hike during the rainy season comparing to other routes
